I saw this ad two days ago, and from the moment I saw it, I have just been speechless. I am not sure what the point of this ad is, but if the purpose of it was to get attention, it worked.
I don't know what part of this ad is more ridiculous. The beginning speech, the lighting of the cigarette, the creepy smile that Cain gives near the end, or the song that is played in the background.
I really want other people's opinions on this, because while I may be a little biased, I still think that most people would agree that this ad is just absurd. But what might be even more outrageous, is the fact that Herman Cain is still in the race for the Republican nomination.
Now granted, I am a fan of the Godfather's Pizza, particularly the one on North Tamiami Trail in Nokomis, Florida, but, I just can't imagine a world will Herman Cain is the leader of the Free World. I haven't even begun to talk about his incredible tax plan (9-9-9) that is eerily familiar to the tax plan in "The Sims" computer game.
Anyway, I want your comments and opinions. Also, I am putting up a poll question for today, so look for that as well.
We all know that you and I usually have opposing opinions when it comes to politics...but I have to agree with you 100% that the ad was absurd, even disturbing, especially the cigarette? Who even smokes anymore anyways...and the creepster smile Cain did at the end. Music added suspicion...Not a fan.
